Ian a local to the tennis scene, is a 5.0 NTRP rated player. Growing up in Colorado, he began tennis at the age of 10 and became a 2009 Colorado 5A Individual State Champion. He is currently the Assistant Head Tennis Coach at Chaparral High School and has been an active USTA League and Tournament player. As a coach he is focused on ground up player improvement starting at the feet. He is a doubles specialist and singles competition coach.

During College he participated in Club tennis programs at U of A and CSU. Having spent over 18 years on the tennis courts he has seen tennis at the high level from junior competition to upper level collegiate play.
